Capitalising on the North

By December 27, 2018 No Comments
While Trump and North Korea exchange threats, the youth from the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) are hungry budding entrepreneurs. Their urban architecture is a scene out of a Wes Anderson film. Their art scene is promising but yet clandestine to the rest of us.

What else don’t we know about this country? What other information is censored? Are there misconceptions to be addressed, or perceptions to be reinforced?

Partake in a lively discussion and hear the views of those who have witnessed, lived, and studied the holistic developments of North Korea over the past years in economics, politics, art, and architecture.
