Chef Damiano Nigro is the executive chef of michelin-starred restaurant Villa d’Amelia Ristorante in Piedmont, Italy. A passion for cooking drove Chef Nigro from humble chores in the kitchen to a professional path that placed him alongside some of the most renowned international chefs including Gualtiero Marchesi, Michel Roux, and Alain Ducasse. In addition to creativity and the search of new techniques, he bases his cuisine on the use of top-quality raw materials and seasonal ingredients supplied by small local producers, whose offerings he personally selects.
