It is often said, especially in the sartorial world, that the Japanese do Americana better than the Americans. How have Japanese trendsetters and entrepreneurs like Uniqlo, Kamakura Shirts, Evisu, and Kapital mimicked, adapted, imported, and ultimately perfected American style, dramatically reshaping Japan’s culture?
