Raffuse Bins with Jimmy Ong

By September 17, 2019 No Comments
Jimmy Ong diverted away from 2-dimensional art to sculpture. As a displaced Singaporean in Java, Raffles became a convenient avatar for him as he conceived Raffuse Bins – 4 monuments that speak about the commercial branding of Singapore and how a nationalistic icon doubles as something useful and available to everyone. Engage in conversation with Jimmy this evening. His items will be up for sale with proceeds going to AWARE.

Jimmy will reveal his newest sculptures on the terrace from September 23rd, including a number of 377A Batons by an anonymous artist.

Conversation is moderated by Abigail Han.
