Education has taught us to believe there is one answer to every question and only one approach to the solution. By the time we leave high school, our talent for creative problem solving would have disappeared. But not just curiosity and creativity. Will future curriculum include educating not just the brain but also the heart? It’s time to reimagine how schools are equipping the next workforce.


Dr Andrea Nanetti is an academic interested in forms of knowledge and their transmission.

Dr Jeannette Ickovics is the Dean of Faculty at Yale-NUS College and a Professor of Social Sciences.
