The Brexit Debate

By December 24, 2018 No Comments
Two years after the UK voted to leave, with Theresa May clinging to the reins, she still claims that the British exit from the EU will return control over borders, money, and law while protecting security and jobs. However, amidst cabinet resignations, treachery and contradictions, there are doubtless more twists in the tale yet to come. Ahead of the looming March 2019 divorce, join Lord Charles Powell in discussing the UK’s future, especially in relation to Asia.

Lord Charles Powell served as Private Secretary and Advisor on foreign affairs and defence to Margaret Thatcher and Sir John Major as Prime Ministers of the United Kingdom.

John Wilton is the Deputy President of Administration and Finance at National University of Singapore and an experienced senior advisor who has helped leaders develop their strategic objectives and understand the financial dynamics of the companies, institutions, and countries they oversee.

Steven McBain is Director and Head of Trading and Consulting at Nano Trading and Consulting Pte Ltd with 22 years of experience in the crude oil industry.

Join us at 7:30am for a hearty breakfast prepared by Executive Chef Colin Buchan.
