PUBLIC SPEAKING FOR TWEENS with Ganesh 10.30am – 12pm
With a focus on presenting to be understood while having fun, your kids will understand their vocal toolbox and wield it powerfully: vocabulary, breathing, gestures, and tonality. Happening every alternate week, each of the 4 sessions explores a different theme, from friendship to debate.
Suitable for ages 9 to 12
Location: Recovery Room
Ganesh has been training kids in schools on public speaking, confidence building, presentation skills, and critical thinking. You might recognise him as our F&B Manager at 1880.
ZUMBA with Shirin 11am – 12pm
Mixing low-intensity grooves with high-energy tunes, this dance-inspired class feels like a power hour party. It’s fun, effective, and a total workout.
Shirin’s classes are high energy with current top 40 hits, Bollywood, and international music. Her prime focus is on burning calories while having fun – turning every class into a party. Her moves her repetitive and classes are easy to follow. You don’t have to consider yourself coordinated to sign up. Just expect to sweat it out and have a good time.
LYRICAL JAZZ with Clarice 1pm – 2pm
Learning to dance sets you free. Express yourself as you connect with the lyrics of the song. Create new limits and discover your best form through artistic movement with @msriceng.
Clarice is currently the Training Head of the TRDO Dance Company and specialises in Lyrical and Contemporary. She has taught workshops and Masterclasses in the country and in the region.
INTRODUCTION TO HAND LETTERING with Rosita 1pm – 3pm
Using a pen or sharpie, create artful typography with a personal touch. Learn the techniques of hand lettering starting with simple strokes, connecting them to form letters, words, and sentences.
All materials will be provided.
Location: Private Dining Room
Rosita is a nomad illustrator, and started her own creative business to conduct hand lettering workshops. Teaching has always been her passion, having been an educator for 12 years.
