Leonie's
An 1880 take on a neighborhood restaurant, Leonie’s traces its name back to the namesake of Robertson Quay, Dr J. Murray Robertson, and boyhood memories of a well-loved family cat named Leonie in his native Scotland. An intimate setting for meals that matter, think of it as what home would be like (if your home had devastatingly good food, great service, and water glasses that magically refilled themselves).
Led by Executive Chef Colin Buchan, our kitchen team invents intriguingly new yet delightfully comforting dishes at 1880. Prior to this, Colin headed Jason Atherton’s Pollen, worked with Gordon Ramsay in London for more than a decade, and is an alumnus of Michelin-starred establishments including Marco Pierre White’s L’Escargot.
Arthur's Bar
The social heart of 1880. Whether it’s coffee or an espresso martini, juice or a bloody mary, the team is devoted to crafting the perfect libation to keep you going from day to night. With its signature 360 vintage teapots fixed to the bar, it’s the perfect setting for surprising encounters or intimate get-togethers, five-minute powwows or last-minute liaisons, at any time of the day.
The Double
A place for meeting and making merry throughout the day and into the night, The Double is where your two worlds collide. Our day-to-night service features better drinks of every kind – from artful brews to craft spirits – to bring you new and unexpected experiences every time you visit.
Studio
This versatile space can be modified for multiple events from intimate dinners to the best parties, movie nights to thought-provoking talks. Speakers we've hosted include three-time Pulitzer Prize winner Thomas Friedman, Nobel Prize winner Sir Richard Roberts, Nobel Peace Laureate Kailash Satyarthi, philanthropist Peggy Dulany Rockefeller, and more.
The Private Dining Room
The dominant feature of the room is a Kerrie Brown wallpaper called "Down the Garden Path". This bold and striking floral design is framed by sandblasted moonstone, covering the entire back wall. The room can be used for large meetings or private dining events such as birthdays and anniversaries.
Recovery Room
Hidden behind secret doors at the very heart of the club, this is the perfect place to retreat with any social event you can imagine. Whether you want to relax, doze, play mahjong, enjoy a private dinner, record a podcast, conduct an interview, or unwind after a spa treatment, this space is designed for comfort. It features 3D dark green wall panels, a reclaimed mahogany floor, a TV, and an incredibly comfortable catnap sofa - all coming together to create an atmosphere of peace, calm, and relaxation.
Bardo
At the heart of our co-working space is a community of people who deploy capital, storytellers who view the world through a different lens, and people who get sh*t done. A day at Bardo is all work and all play, and you’ll get to access all of 1880’s facilities that appeal to your professional and personal pursuits. Members get to choose from a permanent desk, hot desk, private office, or virtual office option and our existing tenants include Wavemaker Partners and Trovio.
